Cass Valley.

In 2018, New Zealand Conservation Trust volunteers set up a trap line in the Cass Valley (between Craigieburn Forest Park and Bealey Spur). The line is currently managed by bach holders in the area.

Collaboration.

In 2018 the Trust started a a trap line in the Cass Valley, along side local bach owners in the area.

In 2019 NZCT helped to carry out a Wildlands Survey in the valley. This was a base survey focusing on birds, lizards, invertebrates, vegetation and pest monitoring. The survey was carried out in the area between Cass-Lagoon Saddle Track and close to Grasmere Lodge.

NZCT offered support for many years before handing the running line over to Cass Valley bach holders in 2024.
